AH our Cabbage Seeds are saved from care- fully selected stocks, and it is impossible to get better at any price. Early Cabbag'e Seed should be sown in hot- beds during February or March. When large enough the plants should be transplanted Into cold frames, and as early as the ground is in fit condition they should be planted in the garden, in rows about two feet apart and about 18 inches in the row. The late varieties should be sown about the first of May, and set out in the garden in June and July. < As these grow larger than the early va- rieties, they should be planted in rows about three feet apart and about two feet in the row. 1 oz. to 1,500 plants, 6 oz. of Seed in beds to transplant upon an acre. ' I I- FIRST EARLY SORTS. I - Early Spring or Flat ParisianâAn extra early flat-headed sort. As early as Jer- sey Wakefield, with heads twice the weight of Wakefield. It is very solid and regular in shape, has few outside leaves. CURRIE'S EARLY' MARIvETâComparing it with Jersey Wakefield, we find it earlier, besides having a much larger and finer head with few loose outside leaves. In form tlie head is conical. Very short. CURRIE'S ECLIPSEâThe earliest of all large Cabbages. It is considerably larger than Henderson's Early Summer and fully two weeks earlier.
