She is famous for herKolack (tarts) and Kvetakova Polevka (cauliflower soup).. JAPAN: Mrs. Okamoto cooks on this old wood stove. Tokeep the long sleeves of her kimono out of the way, she fastensthem with a band over her shoulders. In winter, hot coals fromthe stove are carefully collected and used to heat the house.
