Afon Conwy below the Fairy Glen in Betws y Coed, North Wales at the confluence with Afon Lledr. At this point the river widens and flows more slowly towards Betws y Coed towards Conwy on the North Wales coast where it enters the sea. A popular salmon and trouts fishing river. Both the Afon Conwy and Afon Lledr tumble through steep gorges to reach this point where the terrain is flatter and the river is much wider. A very scenic area of Snowdonia and a popular tourist attraction - especially the Fairy Glen further upstream.
