Sgt. 1st Class Marcus Carter, a native of Lawton, Okla., from the 5th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad delivers school supplies to the opening of the al-Biyan School in the Ghazaliyah district of northwest Baghdad Dec. 15. The school opening is the first of three in the district this week and will provide Iraqi children with a chance to improve their quality of life through higher education.
