Japanese locals tour the Commissary during the monthly tour of Misawa Air Base, Japan, May, 19, 2017. Guests receive a 30-minute brief at a specific local each month to learn more about the mission of Misawa AB while learning more about the installation's friendship and community engagement with the city and surrounding areas. In addition to these specialized briefs, they tour the base perimeter, highlighting important locations on the base. This week, 30 community members coming from as far as Hirosaki, Japan, joined the tour.
