St-Dunstan-in-the-East was destroyed by the Great Fire in 1666, rebuilt with a steeple added by Christopher Wren. It was again destroyed in the Blitz and the remains are now a public garden in the City of London, a beautiful quiet oasis in the hectic heart of the financial centre of the UK.
