Norham Castle shrouded in early morning mist, during the Scottish Wars on Independence it was one of the four most important castles in England.
Norham Castle one of the most important of the Border castles was built in 1121 by the Bishops of Durham a long and turbulent history saw many famous visitors and it's place in history though little known is significant in the Wars and Peace of the Scottish Border.
