Water fire extinguisher. Pressurized cylinder containing water for use in extinguishing a fire. The origins of a fire determine the extinguisher to use. This extinguisher is suitable for use on fires involving solid materials such as wood, paper and textiles. For fires involving flammable liquids or electrical equipment, other types of extinguishers must be used instead. This fire extinguisher is labelled with UK and European safety standard symbols, and is marked for use on Class A fires. For fire extinguisher types, see C014/6960 to C014/6965.
