An Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service Basic Leader Course (BLC) instructor helps a student during a range held to sharpen marksmanship skills near Baghdad, Iraq, Feb. 4, 2019. BLC is led by Iraqi instructors with assistance from Coalition forces and prepares enlisted CTS soldiers to take leadership roles at the team and squad levels by teaching leadership, training, and warfighting concepts and skills. The Coalition is committed to working by, with, and through the Iraqi Security Forces to set conditions for regional stability and prevent the resurgence of ISIS.
