Two children race each other across a newly-constructed bridge in their hometown of Kharbet in Jarniyah, Syria, July 15, 2018. The Syrian Democratic Forces Engineer Support Unit completed the two-day bridge project as part of their mission to rebuild the critical bridges that were destroyed prior to the liberation from ISIS terrorism. Rebuilding critical roadway infrastructure brings the surrounding towns closer to normalcy, allowing trucks to make deliveries and accessibility for emergency workers.
