The award of Medals of Valor to four Soldiers recognize those who braved the flaming wreckage of a private plane to rescue pilot Richard Rosenthal and the award of the Conspicuous Service Medal is for the three Soldiers who supported the rescue by landing the helicopter near the aircraft.
