Variegated and flower-ing trees and shrubs, the old Sea Buckthorn,Arbutus Unedo, and also many handsome coni-fers are effectively placed. In the rocky borders masses of lovely colourmeet the eye. Every variety of mauve and blueAubrietia is here; many species of Androsace,great patches of Campanula, especially C. abie-tina, C. carpatica in its various forms, C. gar-ganica, C.
