The medicalcollege is in Mason street; the Massa-chusetts Historical societys libraiy inFranklin sti-eet; New England museumin Court street; eye and ear infirmary;Massachusetts general hospital. At Chailestown are the stateprison,conducted on the improved plan ; theUnited States navy-yard, with dry-dock,ship-houses, &c.; and the insane hos-pital.
