Welwitschia Mirabilis Plant- Namibia
The Welwitschia Plant of Namibia is one of the oldest plant forms in the world. This example is reckoned to be between 1500 and 2000 years old. It survives the harsh environment by getting moisture from the mists that roll into the desert from the Atlantic and absorbing ti through the leaves and stomata.
