Remains of Second World War era military installation at Mealastadh on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides

From 1941 to 1946 there were 2-300 men stationed at Mealastadh and Breanais on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis operating wireless and radar stations with their associated buildings. All that is now left are a few concrete ruins such as these at Mealastadh.
