The National University Library of Turin is one of the most important Italian libraries. The headquarters, in Piazza Carlo Alberto , in front of Palazzo Carignano , was entirely rebuilt between 1958 and 1973 . The library belongs to the Ministry of Culture and participates in the National Library Service (SBN) .
