A model 1868 flagstaff finial with cover,Prussia 1870 - 1918 The brass flagstaff finial has retained most of its fire gilding and bears the crowned cipher "WR". The brass finial cover also bears the crowned cipher "WR" on both sides,and has partly preserved gilding and small remnants of the original oilcloth material. Cover height 19 cm. The cover with the "WR" cipher was only provided with colours awarded after 1870.
