Gran Canaria, Spain. 19th May, 2013. Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa, assemble its prototype G128-5MW offshore turbine, in the port of Arinaga, on the East coast of Gran Canaria. Gamesa, who has an R&D base in Glasgow, and last year selected the port of Leith for its new manufacturing plant, plan to start testing their new design in the third quarter of 2013.
