Wearmouth railway bridge, Sunderland, UK


The chief engineer of the North Eastern Railway, Thomas Harrison, designed this wrought iron girder bridge to carry the line over the river Wear in Sunderland. It was completed in 1879. The bridge is a grade II listed structure.
