The trek through the forest surrounding the Lonar Crater in Maharashtra, India, reveals 10 ancient stone cut temples in the lake periphery


The Lonar Crater was formed about 50,000 years ago when a giant meteor crashed into earth. The subsequent impact crater has formed a lake, roughly km in diameter, and has a unique bio-diversity in the lake waters.
