From Detroit he removed about1850, with his two daughters named, to Wicklifife, in Lakecounty, Ohio, where his brother, John Vorce, having retiredfrom sailing, had purchased a tavern property on the old stageroute between Buffalo and Cleveland, now Euclid Road. Inthe keeping of this tavern and a country store in connectiontherewith, all were engaged for some years, residing togetherin the tavern. About 1858 Samuel Vorce went to live withhis son Rufus in Ottawa, III., where he died in Jime , SAMUEL VORCE.
