230402-N-TD381-1028 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 02, 2023) An E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, assigned to the “Black Eagles” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 113, and an F/A-18E Super Hornet, assigned to the “Stingers” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 113, are chalked and chained to the flight deck aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).
