Now pass the silk round the line markeda; take the end of the silk, pass it under thepart which is passed round, and fasten it at carry the silk down to b, keeping thethumb pressed upon the silk to keep it in Itsplace, and pass the silk round the line 6, fast-ening as before, and continue to pass the silkround and fastening it till the whole of thelines from a to g are covered.
