Column of Immaculate Conception's Spire, Piazza Antonino Salandra (square) Nardo, Apulia (Puglia), Italy. The Piazza Antonino Salandra (square) is surrounded by Baroque buildings such as the church of San Trifone and the Palazzo della Pretura, a palace rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1743. In the square stands the Guglia dell'Immacolata, built in 1769 by the survivors of the same earthquake.
