RED SEA (Nov. 30, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class Courtney Timmons, from Tampa, Fla., prepares for Catholic Mass in the chapel of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Timmons serves aboard Ike as a religious program specialist and helps prepare and conduct religious ministries and ceremonies. Ike and its carrier strike group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
