Somewhat better facilities are afforded for a study of these measures by carefully tracing the rocks from Tidioute to Warren (15miles), and then from Warren to Bradford (25 miles); but even along these lines the structure is so obscure that mistaken identificationsare quite likely to be made. These facts are stated to explain why there is yet some uncertainty regarding the thickness of the vertical interval between theVenango oil group and Bradford third sand.
