Schöneberg-Berlin. Viktoria-Luise-Platz U-Bahn underground railway station located on the U 4 line. Decorative entrance with stone pillars & green lamps. In 1908 the mayor of Schöneberg under Mayor Rudolph Wilde commissioned Siemens & Halske AG to build an undergound line, a track with a total of five stations between Nollendorfplatz and what is now the Innsbrucker Platz station. Viktoria-Luise-Platz station was one of the five subway stations and the architect Ernst Denicke designed the new station with a 45 -meter-long central platform using green & grey wall tiles & green columns. The entrance had a semi-oval shell-limestone pergola, the ends of which are each crowned by a lantern. The access was destroyed during WW2 but rebuilt after the war. The square and subway station are subject to a preservation order.
