Taplow Manor is reported to be "facing a police investigation and criminal prosecution by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after the death of a 14-year-old girl, and another police inquiry into the alleged rape of a child involving two staff members". "An investigation by the Independent Newspaper have led to "30 new clinical negligence claims by former patients, represented by law firm Hutcheon Law, against the Huntercombe Group hospitals".
