A cub gives its best growl and startles its sibling MOREMI GAME RESERVE, BOTSWANA ADORABLE images show three five-month-old lion cubs practicing their fighting skills on each show the lion cubs pouncing and growling at each other as they play-fight before their mum finally intervenes and calms them down. These images were captured by photographer Sharlene Cathro from South captured the images on her Canon EOS R, in Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana. ?We arrived in Khwai. In the Moremi Game reserve in Botswana and were told on arrival that there was a mother lion with three cubs seen around Horseshoe bend, so we went in search and as you can see we were not disappointed," said Sharlene. ?The mother had just returned from an unsuccessful hunt and we heard her call her cubs, the next thing from under the bushes three little balls bolted towards her. ?She then lay down and had a few moments with each one, they then became like normal children bored and needed to play. ?Any baby in the animal kingdom, you have got to love them, they are all such characters. ?I love the shot with their mother. It looks to me like she is telling the three to play nicely. ?I come from a big family and it's something my mother would have said, we were nine not three. ?I feel so privileged to do this work, to capture these moments. ?Other people seem to love them and can?t believe how close we were to the ENDS
