Mount Shuksan in the North Cascades National Park, Washington State, US, late Autumn 2014. Photo taken from the trail around Picture Lake on this beautiful sunny day. Although not yet winter, the mountain was covered with snow. Mount Shuksan is a glaciated massif in the North Cascades National Park. The highest point on the mountain is a three sided peak known as Summit Pyramid. It raises up to elevation of 9,131 ft (2,783 m). This is one of the most picturesque places in North America and one of the most photographed mountains in the Cascade Range.
