Union Pacific Railroad #119 and the Central Pacific's #60, Jupiter, sit on the rails at Golden Spike National Historic site at Promontory Summit in Utah. On May 10, 1869, the original No. 119 and the original Jupiter where placed nose to nose a railroad tie width apart during the driving of the Golden Spike that completed the Transcontinental Railroad. Both the original No. 119 and the Jupiter were lost to the scrap heap and in honor of the Transcontinental Railroad's bicentennial in 1969 reproductions of the originals were made.
