After many months of bitter gun fire in the East of Ukraine and last weeks fights near the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) in Kiev, where 3 policemen were killed and 120 wounded, silence came to all regions of Ukraine, while rains and rainbows washed and lit Kiev skies. Rainbows are traditionally seen in Slavic cultures as the symbol of peace and friendship between the people, which is now so much desired by Ukrainians, Russians and other people.
