After the ceremony visitors looked over the new monument site for the 190th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. Gowen Field, home to the Idaho Army and Air National Guard, established the Gowen Field Memorial Park in 2008 to honor Idaho's veterans. Every year the park is re-dedicated close to the Memorial Day observance.
