Mr. Mitchell is a son of W. H. Mitchell and wasborn Oct. 13, 1886, two miles west of BeaverSprings. In November, 1804, at the age of eightyears, he became a member of the Adamsburg(now Beaver Springs) band and two years laterarranged his first piece of music for the is also a leading member in the Sundayschool orchestra.
