DOL GLASI (Douglas' Spiraea)—Has spikes of beautiful deep rose-colored flowers in July and August. EXIMEA—Flowers brisjht rose color, July. One of the best. ELM LEAVED (llml- to? ^ a )-Leaves some- what resembling the Elm. Large, round clusters "of white flowers. FOR TUXES(Fo rt u n c i i or CaUosa)—A fine yariet3^ with large panicles of deep, rosy blossoms, which continue nearly all summer. GOLDEX LEAVED— An interesting va- riety, with golden- yellow tinted foli- age, and double white flowers in June. Very conspic- uous. EEEVESII FL. PL. (Reeves' Double) — Flowers white and double: blooms free- ly in clusters. One of the best. THUXBERGIA—A pretty white flowering varietj. Valuable for forcing. VAX HOL'TTI—One of the most charming and beautiful of the Spiraeas, ha\ang pure white flowers in clusters or panicles about an inch in diameter. Aston- ishly profuse in bloom, and plants remarkably vigorous and hardy. But lately introduced from France, and there is no more desirable flowering shrub in cul- tivation. Syringa {Pluladclphus). All the species and varieties of the Sy- ringa have white flowers, many of them quite fragrant. AUREA, GOLDEX LEAVED— A very pretty plant of medium size with gol- den yellow foliage. It retains its color the entire season, and is valuable for creating pleasing
