Hind wing black-brown ; an oblique orange band beyond the cell from vein 6 to 2, angled inwards below end of cell; a slight orange streak on middle of vein 1 ; some orange on termen in submedian interspace ; cilia orange, with series of slight brown spots from apex to vein 2 ; the underside with the costal area greyish, the cell and area below it and the inner area tinged with orange, the terminal area fuscous. Ab. 1, latipenyiis. Pore wing much greyer with a blackish patch on costal area beyond the subbasal line, a diffused black medial shade and prominent black suffusion before the subterminal line from costa to vein 3.
