Sunday shopping in most of France is still relatively rare, with only one or two supermarkets ( Franprix) and convenience stores being open in most communes and cities. In Paris and its suburbs, however, it's not unusual for shopping centres to trade 7 days a week, as is the case with Thiais Village. Among its shops are Ikea (far distance in the photo), Boulanger (French electronics retailer), Fnac (electronics, books, multimedia), Comptoir de famille (rustic home furnishings), and Starbucks.
