PACIFIC OCEAN (March 21, 2021) A Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, adjusts sights on a .50-caliber machine gun during a simulated freedom of navigation operation aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), March 21. Navy and Marine Corps integration training provides the Essex Amphibious Ready Group/11th MEU its first opportunity to plan, brief, execute multiple mission packages. The Essex ARG is underway conducting routine operations in Third Fleet.
