An entirely distinct and novel variety on account of the peculiar twisting and over- lapping of the petals, which gives the flower a most grotesque but at the same time graceful appear- ance ; this, together with its color, of the most deli- cate soft mermet pink, will undoubtedly make it one of the most valuable and pop- ular cut flower varieties. Logan. A magnificent large incurved variety, flowers white beautifully striped with rose, reverse of petals silvery pink ; one of the six varieties that were awarded theSpaulding prize at the Philadelphia Exhibition for the six best new seedlings of 1891. Spring- Grove. Flowers very large, of a rich crimson color, reverse of petals deep bronze. Mrs. W. F. Dreer. A magnificent variety ; flowers large, reflexed, very double, the outer pe- tals dark brown, shading to light in the centre; awarded a Certificate of Merit at the Madison Square Garden Exhibition. An immense symmetri- cally formed flower of a beautiful bright pink, of good substance and form. Awarded a silver medal in 1890, Certificate of Merit in 1891, and one of the six best new seed- lings awarded the Spaul- ding prize in Philadelphia. Rockland. Flow- ers of large size, rich golden amber shaded with bronze, petals slightly toothed, fine flower, beau- tiful form and an improve- ment on Frank Mrs. H. B. Hall.
