The P3 is similar in morphology to the P4 of the Bed 2 and Bed 3a mandibles. Detailed observations on the characteristics of the P4 of L 2674 are ham- pered by the fact that this tooth is very worn. The apices of all cusps have been worn away and the buccal surface of the paracone is damaged. The paracone is the most prominent of the cusps and is a little longer than the metastyle, which in turn is a little longer than the parastyle. A small 'ectoparastyle' is present and in relative size and position it resembles that of the Felis obscura holotype.
