The cov-erings were all re-moved by the care-ful hands of one ofthe professors of theBulak Museum, in the presence of the Khedive and otherdistinguished persons. The head is long, and small in proportion to the top of the skull is quite bare. On the temples there are afew sparse hairs, but at the poll the hair is quite thick. Whiteat the time of death, they have been dyed a light yellow bythe spices used in embalming. The forehead is low and nar-row ; the eyebrows are thick and white; the eyes are small 25.
