Anjr person violating the provisions of sections onehundred and seventy-nine, one hundred and eighty, andone hilndred and eighty-one of this act or the regulationsestablished in pursuance of section one hundred andeighty-two of this act shall, upon conviction thereof, bepunished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars orimprisonment at hard labor for a term not exceedingninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment, at thediscretion of the court; and, further, in case of the viola-tion of any of the provisions of section one hundred andseventy-nine, and conviction thereof, a further fine of twohundred and fifty dollars per diem will be imposed foreach day that the obstruction or obstructions therein CHAPTER IVBUREAU OF CORPORATIOITS «There shall be in the Department of Commerce and f£-JJT,\Labor a bureau to be called the Bureau of Corporations, &c s and a Commissioner of Corporations who shall be the commissionerhead of said bureau, to be appointed by the President,who shall receive a salary of five thousand dollars perannum. There shall also be in said bureau a deputy com- Deputy com-missioner, who shall receive a salary of three thousand ™™°°five hundred dollars per annum, and who shall in the ab-sence of the Commissioner act as, and perform the duties of,the Commissioner of Corporations, and who shall also per-form such other duties as may be assigned to him by theSecretary of Commerce and Labor or by the said Com-missioner. There shall also be in the said bureau a chief and such special agents, clerks, and other employees,as may be authorized
