Banquet of the Gods after 1585 Guglielmo della Porta Italian This relief replicates a composition in bronze by Guglielmo della Porta (before 1506–1577) made between about 1552 and 1555 as part of a series of sixteen subjects drawn from Ovid's Metamorphoses. After della Porta's death, these were repeated in precious materials by Gentili, who obtained the casting models from della Porta's son in Banquet of the Gods 191948
