CBD has been approved for use to mitigate the side effects of cancer treatment, which could include nausea and lack of appetite, Dr Nicha Zungsontiporn, a doctor at The King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok, has said. Also, Thailand was the first country in South East Asia to make it legal to use cannabis in food products earlier in 2022.
