Paul, security advisor for DynCorp attached to the Security Forces Assistance Team, observes the Afghan security forces as they practice using the combative skills they just learned Aug. 17 at the Mehtar Lam security staging area. The Security Forces Assistance Team and the Laghman Provincial Reconstruction Team conducted combative training with Afghan National Army and National Directorate of Security to ensure these soldiers are able to defend themselves if they encounter an enemy force.
