The mould, too, isquickly made by casting the model in sand and plaster, andmelting out the wax. Many modellers make their sketch inwax, and then have this cast in plaster of Paris, which theythen tool up with steel scrapers, getting an amount of finishnot possible in any other way, for plaster admits of a highfinish.
