G. R. Millican has been appointedgeneral superintendent of the Evans-ville (Ind.) Railways, the Owensboro(Ky.) City Railroad, and the Hender-son (Ky.) Traction Company. Afterleaving Purdue University in 1906 became associated with theTennis Construction Company, whichwas then building the electric railway. G. R. MILLICAN between Newburg, Ind., and Rockport,Ind., and was with that company untilthe line was put in operation by theEvansville & Eastern Electric Railwayin June, 1907. In the fall of 1907 became connected with theoffice of the Evansville & Eastern Rail-way, now included in the system of theEvansville Railways, and in 1908 wasmade chief clerk to W. A. Carson, vice-president and general manager of theEvansville Railways, in which capacityhe worked until August, 1910, when hewas promoted to superintendent of theOwensboro City Railroad. He remainedat Owensboro until Jan. 15, 1918, whenhe was made general superintendent ofthe Evansville Railways, the HendersonTraction Company and the OwensboroCity Railroad. Mr. Millican will alsobe general superintendent of the Cres-cent Navigation Company, which ope-rates a line of boats on the Ohio Riverfrom Rockport, Ind., to Owensboro, Ky.,making connection with the cars of theEvansville Railway and another boatline ope
