A beautiful little apple for the amateurs collection, and very highly valued where knownfor a dessert apple, hiving a pleasant flavor and great beauty. In Europe the apple is knownas Api, but in America it has became known as the Lady apple. Some say it was so calledbecause from its small size and beautiful color, it seemed just suited to a ladys mouth. Origin, France.
