"A cry of alarm for climate justice Yesterday in support of the 100,000 demonstrators present at the # COP26 in Glasgow, more than 50 French cities mobilized to denounce the climate inaction of governments, demand #climatejustice and highlight the solutions brought by organizations and collectives. On the Place de l'Hotel de Ville in Paris, hundreds of demonstrators unfurled a banner: "climate inaction = crimes against the living" as well as giant portraits of 10 leaders to denounce their disastrous record: Joe Biden , Emmanuel Macron, Xi Jinping, Jair Bolsonaro, Angela Merkel, Yoshihide Suga, Boris Johnson, Justin Trudeau, Narendra Modi, Vladimir Poutin. Repeated attacks against biodiversity, violation of human rights, complicity with oil and agro-industrial lobbies, the speeches have followed one another to recall the many crimes against living things. Faced with this criminal inaction, more than 180 organizations and movements recall that the solutions exist: to change its consumption and its practices within collectives, to denounce polluting products and brands, to influence the strategy of his company, to put his savings at the service. useful projects, lead local struggles to defend land and the rights of populations, block polluting projects, take action in the courts, go on strike for the climate ...
