Old traditional railway signal box (used as inspiration for the Airfix and Hornby kit models), Oakham, Rutland, England, UK. The signal box was opened in 1899 and is situated next to Oakham station and a busy main road level crossing. It has recently been fitted with a level crossing safety spy camera designed to deter motorists from crossing after the lights have started flashing and the automated barriers have started to descend.
